Announcing Winner of the TACO Marine® Project Boat!

We are excited to announce the winner of the TACO Marine® Project Boat Raffle Fundraiser is Roger LeFranc from Melbourne, Florida! LeFranc was randomly selected Nov. 5 at 1 p.m. EST during the final day of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

After a two-and-a-half year remodeling venture extensively chronicled on Ship Shape TV and a successful fundraising campaign with nearly 1,800 entrants and donations, the TACO Marine Project Boat Raffle Fundraiser raised more than $130,000 for the I’M LOGAN IT Foundation! All proceeds from the Raffle Fundraiser support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and college scholarships for deserving students.

Donations for a chance to win Project Boat poured in from around the country – including states as far away as Hawaii, Alaska, and Maine! Thank you for all your generous donations and support!

The TACO Marine Project Boat would not have been possible without the tremendous support from its many amazing sponsors and organizers, including John Greviskis and the entire team at Ship Shape TV. Since 2015, the TACO Marine Project Boat was featured on 29 Ship Shape TV episodes. You can find all these episodes and more at

We’d also like to send a special thank you to the Informa organizers at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show for their support of the TACO Marine Project Boat and the I’M LOGAN IT Foundation – helping promote and organize the raffle fundraiser for charity.

Taco MarineFrom all of us at TACO Marine, thank you to all of the sponsors and boat show organizers who helped make the TACO Marine Project Boat Raffle Fundraiser a success.

TACO Marine and Ship Shape TV join forces to benefit the I’M LOGAN IT Foundation.

Miami International Boat ShowThe TACO Marine Project Boat, currently featured on Ship Shape TV, involves a full renovation of a neglected 1989 Pursuit 2650 boat. The boat’s rehab is in its final stages and will be on public display for the first time in the Center Court at the 2017 Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show February 16 to 20.

Ship Shape TVJohn Greviskis, host of Ship Shape TV, will be on hand
throughout the boat show to discuss the project boat and many of the products that have been installed on the TACO Marine Project Boat. Representatives from TACO Marine and other participating suppliers will also be on hand to answer your questions.

When completed later this year, the totally updated and like-new boat will be raffled and the proceeds will benefit the I’M LOGAN IT Foundation*, created by the Kushner family in loving memory of Logan Matthew Kushner.

I'm Logan It FoundationThe I’M LOGAN IT non-profit foundation raises money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and provides college scholarships for student athletes who exhibit similar values and qualities as Logan Kushner, including a strong sense of leadership, resilient spirit, team pride, good sportsmanship and helping others.
